My first reply got deleted so I guess I need to be more POLITE.
The Quarter will be Disappointing. Therefore the report will reflect the Quarter, and also the OUTLOOK, since the Quarter and the yr, and future expectation, had built in that asset sale which DID NOT happen.
The report was moved to a FRIDAY. Most likely in the Afternoon after the close, so that the micro-quarterbacks, will hopefully be in the bars, instead of at work. This way The management team doesn't get asked about what they already happen to KNOW...!
The one bright spot is that HNR does happen to own what they own. Even if they crude is lousy, someone will buy it.
Shareholders ought to be grown-ups when they get involved with Assets that make deals with Dictators, and multiple 3rd World Dictator/Obama type partners, and then when a partner pulls out.......Shake their head, and say..."Golly Gee Homer, How did that Happen....?..."
