    Going Vertical

I give up, what is going on. Has the deal been approved in Venezuela or Gabon? Another 20 cents and short covering will start kicking in.

    • maybe VZ has made up its mind but letting all the cronies buy some HNR stock first before announcing like our Congressional "servants" decent volume today makes one think something was going on.

      • Any other company that had a 14% increase in stock value would receive both TV and written coverage on what was driving the price. Hopefully, we will see something said prior or near the opening. If the stock continues to climb as it did yesterday, we will see a significant volume increase this morning as the shorts try to both cover their position and stop the advance in price. The short holding will be published tomorrow after the close.
As to the cronies buying stock, in November 2013, the company agreed to sell to 12 purchasers an aggregate of 1,704,800 shares of common stock for an aggregate purchase price of $5,370,120. The purchasers included six Harvest officers and directors, who purchased an aggregate of 246,000 shares of common stock for an aggregate purchase price of $774,900. The transactions closed on November 27, 2013.

        Sentiment: Buy

    • looks like its correcting up to 4.75 / 5 range for starters, be interesting to see how far above that it will go

      Sentiment: Strong Buy
