Allow me to explain: Based soley on the numbers, JSDA is an extremely expensive stock and is probably over valued. Its correcting now. Even the former CFO Jenny Cue will tell you the same thing. Thats why she's spent the last year selling into any strenght whatsoever. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she's at it again this morning.
All that said, if youre a long term sort of person, looking out 24 months or so, IF JSDA ends up being another Hansen, it won't matter tuppence to you if you got in at $5 or $7/ share.
You're not giving enough credit for earnings growth. Also Jsda properly has a takeover premium. With Q4 -- a weak quarter seasonally- at .04 ex-special items, '06 can easily be at .25. This sounds very high but with Organics kicking in, Panera, Starbucks and B&N opening many new stores which require initial inventory, increased distribution and margins improving as sales increase, it is very possible IMHO. Q2 and Q3 is where the bulk of earnings occurs.
