Are we going to see haloween flavors this year, and will it be located in more stores?
Are we going to see a return of a more conventional christmas soda pak or are going to do something weird again this year?
Did they address the lack of product in select walmart stores or is this a distribution problem beyond jones's control?
sorry for the constant questions, but here goes... At the last c.c they commented on the "expensing of outdated goods,", I'm just wondering if they commented on that, or if they may be sandbagging on this really not knowing how much product is actually selling, and this expense, I'm still not sure if this is product that they produce or if it is product that fizz produces. Also in the past they have commented on not producing and selling fizz any concentrate in q-4 and q-1 of 2008. ANy chance they said anything about sales to fizz. ALso last year they lost a huge distributor in St. Louis missouri, and it went belly up. Did they say anything that would lead you to think that this problem was solved completely and that production and distribution have been brought back up to snuff? Did they comment on distributors feedback about the movement of product? I do not want to wear out my welcome so I'll stop here. Let me know if you mind answering more.
I think they are being agressive on price right to gain more drinkers and avoiding the expensing of outdated goods.
They have a new distributor in the South starting now...
They did mention that they are just coming out of the FIZZ over supply problem on several of the popular flavors.
Jones Energy is hard to find at my Wal-Mart. What did they say about their plans for energy drinks?
We need some type of national advertising to get the brand noticed. Any news?
Thanks for keeping us shareholders informed!
Are they going to discontinue the use of sodium benzoate in their sodas? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1021809/Coca-cola-phase-controversial-chemical-linked-hyperactivity-gene-damage.html
24c is in many (if not all) of the 7eleven convenience stores in Quincy MA (4 of 4 that I've checked).
I always ask how they're selling and most stores say "not so good". One manager suggested that Jones should advertise. Vitamin Water (with Shaq O'Neil) sells like crazy. I think 24c is better product at a better price.
Any word from Jones on advertisement and/or sponsoring a big name athlete to promote 24c and/or other Jones beverages?
BTW - thanks for all your posts.
several questions and comments. Since you live in the seattle area, are you, or do you pay any attention to the legal battles with jsda, and how far along in the negotiations with the bloodsuckers are they? Was it mentioned at the meeting. Was PVS there? Any thoughts on his almost 2 million shares and when he will dump them?
Gaba will be a soft launch going into health food stores in late Q3... Probably be in the form of a tea and an enhanced water.
Cans of Cola is getting out there. If you want it in bottles you can ask your local store to bring it in. Hopefully they will continue to stock it after you only take half of your order.
shareholders are happy? with what? Hankukkah packs not available until after Hanukkah? The lack of going to a store and wondering if your favorite cans will be there? The inability to get all brands to the stores?
