"I thought the city of Manitowoc had a ban against the Irish --I beleive your mostly surrounded by the Germans and the English -- and a few Green Bay Packers fans." kent - when I lived in Manitowoc we used to say that the town was 1/3 German, 1/3 Polish and the other 1/3 was a mixture of the two with a few of us Scandinavians for good measure. And (almost) all were Packer fans.
You can also go to the Yahoo finance page and click on to profile. Burger, I thought the city of Manitowoc had a ban against the Irish --I beleive your mostly surrounded by the Germans and the English -- and a few Green Bay Packers fans.
Okay. Look the point is that you are still better off taking capital gains than ordinary income. The whole discussion started when you stated that one of the reasons you were selling was because of the yearly dividend. Also, you wanted to invest in companies that offered a higher dividend and paid on a quarterly basis. I was just countering with another view point which I beleive to be more advantageous from a tax perspective. Come on Burger, you know what I am talking about, capital gains are ALWAYS better than ordinary income -- your just being ornery.
