Doogie,do you make the dispensers for mtw ice?I hope it's not true,if it is I wish you the best for you and your family.I'm retired from mtw and I know they used to make the dispensers here at mtw ice.Good luck to you,P.S still have 80 laid off at ice.
Not worried about plastic as it is not used for stress parts that do the heavy work. Metal parts failed in those killer Chinese cranes, so I trust that no Manitowoc metal stress parts are made in China. But, I don't know if we could ever know that for sure unless we knew someone who worked there.
Plastic is not used for stress parts. Stress parts are always made of metal in heavy equipment. That metal failed in Chinese cranes and any metal stress parts made there must be avoided until technology improves. Will take a while.
Well I supposed I could post the press release that is coming out on Monday but you will have to wait for that.
The purchase of Enodis was driven at MTW by executives who were former employees of Enodis. MTW took on over $2 billion of debt to purchase a company which is 15% of their revenues. So now MTW has put their entire company at risk with this debt load.
We deserve better from the board of directors of MTW.
