You cannot be SERIOUS!!! That was political suicide!!!
McCain, at his age, makes the decision to put the second in command in the persona of a woman with less than two years experience as govenor and whom most have never even heard of???? And then Mc Cain has the audacity to question Obama's ability to step in as
Commander and Chief? The Democrats just won the election by a landslide!!! One has to seriously question McCain's judgements now. What next? Lindsay Logan will be named Secretary of Commerce?
Anyone see the movie "Fargo" with Frances McDormond? A strong, competent fecund woman with a north country accent. It will be interesting to see if the media heads (assuming they are republican) program reruns of the film prior to the election.
what is appealing is that she is conducting a state government the old fashioned way...honestly and with integrity...
it is sort of frightening for everyone as she has quite a reputation for being fearless
geez, when you suggest to your own state legislature to start proceedings to make sure that everything you did when you fired an official was in order then you have to be an honest person.
While I was watching this I made $6200 using optionglobe and their option trade Friday morning. win-win
Well I love the lady and had hoped she would be a vp after hearing her on kudlow a while back with regard to offshore drilling etc but never in my wildest dreams thought she'd get the nod. Good choice but unfortuantely if you lok at oil and our stocks it appears the street believes they are now bound to lose. In the drive from home to work where I now am I've seen oil come off to damn ner zero. Looked to see if gustav is petering out but nope, only explanation I can see is the veep choice and people thinking obama will be coming to rape our sector shortly. I hope the polls turn into the reps favor or else this could get a great deal uglier, we need a good hit with gustav now for sure or next week isn't going to be pretty. Likewise, the positioning leads me to believe there is no hope in hell of getting offshore legislation until after the election, too much of the number 1 issue for them to differentiate themselves on though they both have the same plans for the most part.
I figured asking for a list of OBama's accomplishments would end the conversation.
he has none.
he has the worst resume of any candidate in a long long time
I could find good in him winning, I'm not an OBama-basher or hater, I just think you have to admit, he's done nothing, and even when given the chance, almost always voted "present"
and his speech against the Iraq war? ooooooooooooh, so much on the line then when he was a state senator and had eyes on the US Senate? Real tough to be a Dem in Illinois and take a stand against the war in the primary, when you KNOW whoever won that primary would win the seat.
He gives one heck of a speech, but let's not act like he's one accomplished person who takes the hard stand.
