I Own Shares of RIG and Reinvest the All theDivvies Thru DRIPs
I also own shares in two more drillers, ESV and Seadrill and I also use DRIPs to buy more shares of these stocks. . All three pay great divvies, ESV = 4.9%, RIG = 5.4%, and Seadrill = 7.9%. While Seadrill has the highest divvy rate payout, both ESV and RIG have performed much better at pps appreciation.
It sure beats putting your money in a bank savings account at two tenth of a percent interest.
As long as you have DRIPs in your 401K or IRA, they are great, but if you have them in a taxable account they become an accounting nightmare after a few years....Make sure you keep close track of your cost basis.
