    Once the buyout occurs, its over.(pop and done!!!)
    Until then, spikes like this confirm those involved in the transaction(lawyers, accountants, finance entities)have not completely secured their information. Not that its their fault, its just such a large transaction that numerous parties are involved and people are bound to leak info. Once those privy to the info have bought, the stock sells off. This will occur in waves until the transaction is consummated.
