this is up 6% in a/h on this - On the company’s post report conference call, Adobe said it expects Q1 revenue of $950 million to $1 billion with profits of 26-32 cents a share, below the Street at $1.07 billion and 56 cents. For the full year, Adobe sees revenue of $4.1 billion with profits of $1.40 a share, below the Street at $4.48 billion and $2.35 a share. The company noted that the transition of $770 million in revenue from perpetual licenses to a subscription model will reduce results for the year by about $1.20 a share.
ADBE in late trading is up $2.07, or 5.8%, to $37.60.
Do we know how much of that 770M in revenues and $1.20 EPS due to transition was already in the analyst estimates?. My guess is most of it and perhaps not all of it .. We shall know tomorrow from the analyst estimates / ratings?
