    Creative Cloud products?

Please correct me if I am wrong, but there are three: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. Two of these three, Photoshop and Flash can be downloaded for FREE! So why would anyone want to buy a subscription to the Creative Cloud? I guess I just don't get it. Can anyone explain this to me?

The free version of Photoshop doesn't have the professional horsepower. The free Flash download is just the reader; the authoring program is paid. You're also missing InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro (and potentially Go Live and Premier) which are mainstays of designers. Adobe CC is a "must have" for most people in the business. And worth paying twice the price for (but don't tell them).

      • Your right, I never heard of either InDesign or Illustrator and would be interested to know more about what these software products do. I am well aware of Adobe Pro, however I thought that Adobe Photoshop was the industry leader and best reason to sign up for a CC subscription. Please correct if I'm wrong about that.
However there really are not any new software products here to drive growth, its just a change in the way ADBE offers them to its customers. As a matter of fact since ADBE introduced the CC subscription service in 2012, both its Gross Revenues and EPS have fallen off dramatically from FY 2012 through FY 2014. So what gives??? Is Adobe really worth $61 per share? Perhaps on next Monday it might be, but I'm not so sure it can maintain this type of valuation, IF one actually reads and understands the last Annual Report of their Financial Statements for FY ending 11/30/2013.The financial numbers really speak for themselves.
