By investing both their research efforts into the projects, Nuance and IBM hope to think far beyond the next round of voice-powered applications and focus on how voice will be a critical interface in networks of the future, Sejnoha said. “It allows you to look at the near term, but it also allows you to make some long-term bets,” he said. “These are the bets that are going to pay off.”
What is with you guys? Nuance to Watson is like a flea to a dog. Besides, it wasn't human/machine interaction. Again.... Watson was given the text of the answers. It didn't have to hear or read and interpret like the two other contestants.
I love Nuance and its future, but give me a break.
Amazing...gets all kinds of nuanced and obscure questions...then misses on what are apparently easy to figure out questions.
city with airport named after WWII hero and battle.....even I got Chicago because all you needed to think about was a city with two airports....and one named after a person and another a place/event....only place I could think of was Chicago....but Watson answered Toronto?????
