    Icahn/Cook dinner

So the long-awaited Carl Icahn/Tim Cook dinner is rumored to be scheduled for Monday night in New York.

I know we all have hopes, I know we all have dreams. Hopes and dreams aside, what reasonable expectations might we have? How quickly might we see meaningful news? Any thoughts?

    • I'd be v-e-r-y interested in knowing who was the initiator of the dinner "invitation". If it was CI, he could be veiling his intentions if/should/maybe/could be/maybe searching for a sympathetic ear in Mr. Cook. For what purpose? Your guesses are as good as anyones..

      One thing is certain...

...that they ARE going to be discussing something "business related", NUAN-related or not---otherwise the dinner is NOT tax deductible. ;-

    • Who knows. I mean, Icahn has no power over apple. So why is Tim cook meeting with him... CI must have something they want. Whether that's some friendly general advice on creating shareholder value or something more, like a "farfetched" acquisition to shore up apple's competitive position... well that's the billion dollar question. I would find it odd they're having dinner to discuss stock buybacks.
