That's a lot of dough by anyone's standards. His average price is around $16.50 give or take a few cents. He has 17% of his 20% allocation, using options he can lower his cost some more. I don't believe Icahn's an idiot, his body of work speaks for itself. NUAN is looking interesting at these levels below Icahn's cost.
sure does.. when you play at his level you create many more enemies than allies..he played his cards too early.. passive investment with no ability to buy into weakness due to the poison pill was the perfect set-up for what just happened and is continuing to happen. Only way to reverse course now is through better than expected Qtrly results and or well placed rumors of pending sale / privatization. CI can't even jump off and go "postal" any time soon. Truthfully, i don't think he cares ST. They had plans to do a major buy back and this plays right into his agenda. Knowing CI he will have NUAN buying hand over fist once they feel it is bottoming... cause once they start buying it reverses course. JMHO
