    Kohl's server DOWN

    I have been trying to purchase items online since 12AM. now it's 1:22 PM and server still down. I'm sure they will lose many customers that are looking for their online Black Friday.

    • I know. I work there pt. Store had no where near last year's business and that was quite slow compared to previous years.
      Weird thing is? I am looking at the ad this past week and thinking? who is going to stand outside at 4am to come buy this junk? We have good stuff, but it was almost like any other sale we have almost once a month. I didn't see any doorbusters or reason to come out so early? Had a boring 3am to 2pm shift. Store did make their credit goal though.
      Wish I was shorting kss when it was reported the directors were selling. I would have been in the whoile for a while, but came out on top. I see no reason to own any retail long in these current levels. looking at tjx for a .40 trade, but scared to move with black friday over, market was down big today, and the current dollar crisis I would look for kss to be in the 51-52 range by the end of Dec.

    • It's past four o'clock eastern and their site is still down. Looks like no online sales on the biggest day of the year.

      Other retailers are reporting a 30% increase in online sales compared to last year.


    • How many million$ in missed sales will this cause? They missed out on hundreds from me alone. I wonder if they are keeping the site down until after the Black Friday Early Birds expire, rather than have people try to shop and find they were way understocked. Amazon and Walmart had these issues in previous years, you would think retailers would learn from others' mistakes.

    • I just called the Kohl's customer service number 866-887-8884 and heard the following message. "Thank you for your call. At this time our agents are assisting other customers. Please visit or call back later for additional assistence, good bye." Repeated twice and then a "goodbye" and a hangup.

      I tried calling twenty times in over an hours time. NO joy
