    Morgan Stanley downgrade.

Now, I'm convinced that Wall Street is a rigged game. That's why it is so important to always sell "covered calls" against your position. Money should always be making money.

"Chi Tino, add this lie to your continuing string: FASB, Insider Training, and now erroneous Cash Flow calculations

I just pulled your name on a search, and you really don't know what you are talking about. You have made 3 arguments about insider buying, not 2, and all are wrong:

      (i) You said "no officer is buying shares". Officers have in fact been buying shares, including the CFO and General Counsel. This is a blatant lie.

(ii) You said no significant "purchases" in the last year by Insiders. Yet we have a block of $100,000 by an officer. After being caught in another lie, you spin that to say "net of sales". I don't have time to confirm what sales were done, but that is irrelevant, since no sales by ANYONE since May. Besides, if the same guy is buying at 11, that sold at 27, I'll follow his lead.

(iii) Your third argument is that these Directors don't have any idea what they are doing, or the day to day operations of the company. I'll take a $1,000,000 purchase by one of the directors over the word of a biased short anyday.

Since these all show your bias, I may need to simply repost this post after each of your replies from now on."

    • Well, that's the problem in investing...intelligent people are often trying to mislead you or, at least, persuade you to their position. Why do you think they call Wall Street analysts the "sell side?"

Read this and see how intelligent it sounds to you: "Evaluating the posts on a Yahoo board is one strategy for making superior investments."

What is your assessment of this strategy?

    • Right!! That's after TE just sold 200 Megawatts of electricity to Nevada Power from the new as yet uncompleted Gila River plant.

    • Kit "I never met a stock I didn't like" Konolige is apparently fed up with this one. His reasons:

      - Likely dividend cut (sound familiar?)
      - Good chance of new equity (ouch!)
      - Medium-term trading range of $11-$12.50 based on 9-10X our new '04E of $1.25 per share
      - Sum of the Parts analysis produces roughly $9-13 in value (sound familiar?)
      - Increased drag at non-utility unit - related to new Texas unregulated power investments

      Keep buying!

      • Have you covered your short position yet?

It takes balls to be short this stock at this level.

      • If Kit has been so wrong, why would institutional investors listen to him now?

From your summary it sounds like he is a bit late in joining the downgrade parade.
