HomeAway has concocted an internal policy that basically gives the rental property owners "last look' before a review is submitted on-line. Negative reviews on a rental property are few and far between because they can be screened out by the owners, thereby whitewashing any problems with the property. As a potential renter through this service you are flying blind if you dare to rely on any of the biased sample of reviews. A stunning revelation and extremely poor business practice of not allowing transparency.
I like homeaway better than flip key as a visitor--- I could never get flip key on the phone
espec weekends or night ..........homeaway was 24/7 and solved many problems. I hear Homeaway
pays its owners immediately, Flipkey waits a long time to get them their money...
