ACA makes a lot of sense in FL. The 328 is the wrong airplane from CVG to the northeast. It is slow and weight limited. FL could be a sweet spot for the 328 and ACA.
If anything lets get out of LGA. CVG is a perfect market for the FRJ handling short hauls. CVG-DAY, CVG-CLE, CVG-SBN, CVG-EVV etc etc etc.Melvin
I think the Florida flights would work well, but we'll have to wait and see.As for CVG, I hate to see FRJ's doing the CVG-DCA runs. Seems like a real waste of a DCA slot to use such a tiny plane on a major route. I know it builds frequency but still stinks. With demand still weak in NYC, I can't imagine upgrading the FRJ's to CRJ's. Once demand returns and the capacity is needed, then maybe.Anyone know if ACA will receive any more planes for DL? Are the 30 FRJ's it or are there some CRJ's coming later??
