Larry and this other punk are down right amazing. So busy trying to pump up the stock that you are not able to see what every airline analyst and people in the industry are saying. I see two employees that don't want to accept reality and find it better to slam people on the board.
Everyone listen to whomever you want, but you have Larry who is a devout pumper who has not been correct on one single "prophecy". I have just been reading back and keep seeing promises of BIG NEWS and NEW PLANES COMING and all sorts of stuff that isn't even close to true. Then you have this other guy mengjohn who is such a immature little brat that his profile lists himself as the "stock master" and his hobby is "making love to his sexy wife".
Yeah those are the guys I want to base my investments on.
Peace out you goons. I see that those with any brains already bailed out of this stock. The only onces left behind here are the bottom feeding neophytes who are hoping to turn their $500 startup eTrade account into millions and FLYI employees who don't want to better thier lives. I like 99% of the FLYI employees, but these two are scum. I am guessing none of you investors left behind know how to do analysis and see that declining cash on hand, increasing debt and no end in sight all add up to a failed company. GE already bailed this company out once. No one is going to buy FLYI. It would be cheaper to let them go under and take over the routes. That way you are forced to take the mgmt that you don't want.
Best of luck to all the front liners, you guys are awesome. I am out of here. I don't need to take the verbal berating of two guys who don't know what they are talking about or the first thing about investing. The stock market isn't a crap-shoot when you know what to look for.
I'll check them out. And by the way I'm not stuck on FLYI I just think it is a good candidate for doubling in PPS this year. I dont fall in love with any stock Im not married to any of them. I bought HOFF an oil rig company at .39 cents last year and I mean I really bought them to the tone of 50,000 thats pretty big money for me Im but a small fish in this market. Any way I sold them about a month later for 1.09 I was not happy as they went on to climb to 2.29 before finally falling back to what I bought them at then some time later turning .PK. I made about 35,000 on that play, guess my point is I dont buy and hold much of anything so I wont be here long. I do think this stock will climb back up into the 3.00 to 4.00 dollar range short term and if it does not Ill bail no big deal to me Ill find another one after this one. But back to FLYI I do like the management and the price book value of the company as well as the chart and volume and institutional shares being held as well as the shares outstanding. The price is right for me and it may be a long shot but Im betting they will be able to turn things around and emerge to a very successful company. Still Ill check out your other airline company and see how she looks.
Oh yeah, for any one else that reads this message Im not Larry but believe what you will.
Please only post information that is useful for analyzing this stock. This is a high risk stock and one that no one should have their life savings in. But good analysis and information is always welcome and helpful.
Please do a little bette next time.
Ditto to you. I wasn't trying to be harsh on you, having a little fun with ya. I can handle the insults, water off a ducks back. Enjoy the weekend, get some sun, stretch the legs.
Best of luck on your stocks, good luck with this one. Want a tip, buy LUV on 10/01/05. They open a new city shorty after and should report a few weeks after that. They ALWAYS go up on earnings. Buy on the 1st, sell at noon day of announcements and you will be in the positive. Set your watch to it :)
If you know what to look for and you know this is a bad investment then why in the hell are you on this message board? Hello...And yes I'm a very proud happily married man with a beautiful wife and enjoy having fun setting up my personal profile on Yahoo. Beat's the hell out of your profile buddy "no answer" is that the best your capable of coming up with? I could careless about discussing my own or your personal life on a company message board, remember you brought it up. I usually only post relevant information about the company on a message board. But there is nothing I hate worse than some little brat saying "I'm not long, I'm not short this stock and have no interest in the company so listen to me". There are 250,000 different companies covered by yahoo and you just so happen to pick this company and this message board to post on.
You dont follow this company but you know for certain they are going underwhat ever. At least Im honest even when I post a message I am long this stock and have supplies valid information to the board as recently as Wednesday when I called the company and posted a message pertaining to earnings and a upcoming press release.
I do not work for the company and yes I do call myself a self-proclaimed stock master for fun! At least I try and make my profile interesting moron! And for future reference I was Series 7 licensed in 2003 with a score of 91. But Im sure you have no idea what that means. And before I drop this conversation completely, try and restrain your self from posting on a message board of a company for which you have no interest let alone posting dooms day information for which you have no reliant sources.
And one more tip for yeah, the saying goes buy low sell high why in the hell do you think people would buy airline stock right now...it's not rocket science.
Peace and Happy Trading
Great, have fun with yoru profile. Just don't expect anyone to take you serious.
I don't have any interest in this company as an investment. However, you are assuming that I don't know anything about the company. I do know things about it. I do know things about the industry and I do invest heavily in the airline industry. You also assume that I have no sources. You know what they say about people who ass-u-me! To top all of that I make a lot of money investing in airlines because I am very good at it and know a hell of a lot about how airlines work.
Buy low, sell high. Sounds good doesn't it. Great saying that if everyone followed we all would make money. Think about it again. There has to be someone on the other end of that for you to be buying from and selling too. You are that guy to me. Guys like you that trade stocks without thinking are what makes me a rich kid. As to your question as to why people would buy an airline stock right now, it is because there are people out there that think they know what airline stocks are tied to. OIL! Everyone is trading on oil right now. It goes up, XAL goes down. Right? That is what everyone thinks. Check the market today. Today is not abnormal airline trading. As for this stock, there is a reason the stock is below $1 and has been for months (with the exception of a few unfounded days a few weeks ago). People know this airline has troubles and can't rebound from it.
But go on discounting me. I don't care. For every ONE of you there are two who might read this and snap to their senses. Those are the ones I am talking to. People like you that want to bury their heads in the sand and hope it all works out are of no concern to me.
did you ever think he is in denial?
I choose not to listen to him...and I have invested in this very questionable issue with great apprehension...
somestimes it works and sometimes it doesnt...but I knew that coming into it as a bottom feeder so my losses are not that significant...but it appears that this one is now sinking in the mud on the bottom.
I am doing well on other issues in the sector....WLDA PNCL XJET BA BEAV..etc...
anyhow....Happy investing and may your returns be beyond your expectations..
Good luck to you too. I can see how someone would invest a little bit in the odd case it would go up. I don't see that happening though. At these low prices this would be a good day trading stock as you could have huge volumes for your trades for very little cash. Unfortunately there is no rhyme or reason behind this stocks trades. It is pure manipulation that makes this stock move anywhere, so that is why it is a risky investment.
And to larry, I am not that airtran guy. Keep thinking I am though, it doesn't affect me any. At least there are two of us that know the truth, that guy and me. Pretty funny for the two of us for you to keep blathering on about us being the same.
Do you call everyone who tries to open your eyes airtran? Don't answer, I will never see it.
