    MGN vs RVM

does anyone think that Montana will only allow of of these two mines to open or do you think they will allow both? There are very close to each other. RVM seems further along and has an already operating mine there. they donate millions to the local schools. RVM has donated thousands of acres for Grizzly bears and hired a park ranger. They had a rock fall in their operating mine and kept all the people on payroll for 4 months. Seems to me, RVM would get the nod over MGN. anyone care to comment?

    • Well okay this is my first post so im sure i'll get some #$%$ but i dont care!!!!!!!!!!!! To comment on your post i'd first like to ask WHY CAN'T BOTH MINES GO????? I have heard that RVM is ahead of the permitting but they don't have an ADIT driven 14,000 feet now do they. Does RVM have a watertreatment plant at the rock creek mine??? How much is the ROCK CREEK MINE gonna be tied up in court by the ENVIROS????? I have PERSONALLY been up to the MONTANORE MINE. I have seen first hand the WATER TREATMENT PLANT!!! Why didn't you mention Montanore donating to the grizzly bear study done by Kate Kendal???? How about the 20,000 every yr to the libby rodeo and how much to the Hospital?

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • I doubt there will be political will two open two mines. since RVM is so far ahead and so much more financially stable, why would you invest in MGN? If you are an of work miner, why wouldn't you drive the 20 miles to Troy and see if you can get a job there. The RVM Troy mine is only 20 miles north/west

You raise some good questions. RVM is years ahead in the process. They have experience operating mines. Their CEO is a mining executive. The mine is still tied up in the courts but it has been going on for many years. Water treatment plants are no big deal. If RVM doesn't have one, they will get one. MGN is essentially broke. Their stock is in the toilet. Their CEO has no mining experience. Their plan reflects this--no money, no experience, no clue. They do not have a decision from the governement agencies. If they ever get one, the lawsuits will be filed. The most effective enviros in the country are on record against the project. It will be in court for years. MGN has been lying to everybody about the timeline and people have figured it out. Out of work miners need to look elsewhere. Montanore is not going to happen.

        Sentiment: Strong Sell

There is no question that RVM is light years ahead of MGN. If either mine opens, it will be Rock Creek. However, there is a real possiblity that neither project will happen. MGN has so much going against it.
