Agreed. What's the latest with this company? I was interested in the DNA/Roche thing, but it seems like, since Roche already has a stake in DNA that it would not change the agreement on Rituxan.
Funny, I've followed this company for a long time and I just found out yesterday that a friend is going to be taking Rituxan and is worried about all of the side effects. I looked Rituxan up in a PDA and I can see why she's nervous, they paint this drug as rather dangerous...but I don't think it's seen that way in the clinics is it?
Rituxan at worst gives chills, etc. especially during first infusion - recommended infusion time is 4 hours plus - make them start at 9am so they have time to premedicate (Benadryl, etc.) and get them through the first one. Compared to chemo its like water, believe me.
I have to agree that its annoying to open posts only to find it to be a spam. I am trying combat them by only opening posts that have reply's. If we keep threads of conversation going we will know which ones to open and which ones to not bother with by the number of reply's.
