CELG is the symbol for the entire Celgene coorporation. CELGZ, on the other hand is only the symbol for the CVR's which were issued when Celgene acquired Abraxis. The CELGZ symbol, in my understanding, only represents the ABRAXANE product which is now owned by Celgene.
even i am confused...when i login to trading software, i dont see any details of CELGZ. just want to know is it safe to invest in this stock? This one came down from $8. There is no insider OR institutional ownership of this stock. All the stocks are in market only. Difficult to judge what kind of stock is this. No volume, erng, eps, analyst opinion etc.
this is celgz is not actually a stock, it is called a baby bond it is suppose to be much safer than stocks. They usually have an expiration date and a call date. to be honest if you don't know what it is you should not be buying stocks
