carl- u r correct........you dont have to possess institutional access to info to realize that this is the moment to accumulate........the pps is a gift. smart folks realize this.
That would explain the surging volume. This stock, as was ever the case, is largely in the hands of retail investors, many of whom are, in my opinion, overcommitted. This makes the stock highly vulnerable.
...and this from a guy with "no position" in ARNA who only likes to spend most of his time on this board out of a sense of enjoyment and strong desire to impart his wisdom to the befogged rabble (which apparnetly includes Wellington, etc.) Gotcha!!!! Back on ignore.
Over committed? Are you concerned they have bought on margin? Concentrating your portfolio is not a problem if you have great stocks. This stock is a stock that I have no problem having a higher concentration in as long as it is not on margin.
Retail shorts just don't understand that all these shares being purchased by institutions are going to be locked away not for trading. The number of shares to purchase on a short squeeze are drying up, retail longs, institutions, and insiders are all holding for the long term price move. So the number of shares in the market to actually buy is shrinking daily.
That is another reason for light volume, shares are not being purchased for trading. This could be a disaster for shorts.
It is now becoming a fact as the ownership on all the funds reporting have doubled up, it was up in the air before. My shares look very safe now, and I have no doubt that the launch will be a good one.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
