I am somewhat of an open book to the public and credible as I am an attorney and author over at SA, so this is 100% truth and not from some pumper.
I just asked my doctor about Belviq. He was not aware of the launch but has actually been invested in ARNA 3 times over the years. He told me that he has dozens of patients lined up for this drug. He says he thinks this will be a gigantic blockbuster. Not just a blockbuster, but like one of the most revolutionary drugs ever created. Multi-billion dollars per year in sales. I told him about Bel Phen and he said he will look into it tonight and has no qualms about prescribing the combo.
I wish I had so much more money to invest in ARNA right now.
Thanks for sharing your information. This is valuable input as is your post on seeking alpha. It look like your soundly based and input from uyour phycisian and your professional analysis on SA really has the semi-illiterate short scribes unable to respond other than to call names and throw out negative stereotypes.
I have listened to both sides of the story for over 3 years and can see no reason that Belviq will not drive Arena much higher. The several articles, starting with Murphy that present comprehensive scenarios for revenue growth ;continue to be supported by a growing body of facts and knowledgeable analysts,
If you read what I wrote, I never said it proves what the doctor said is correct or that being an SA author is impressive. What it does mean is that I am much more of a "public figure" than you in that I can easily get called out on the carpet by thousands of readers so I have to watch my claims much more closely. Not to mention I am easily recognizable in real life.
Rural northwest city/town. Population less than 50k. I'm not telling you his name. Why would I paste my doctor's name on a message board? I'm sure that would go over really well if he found out, because obviously all the stuff you talk about with your patients you expect to end up on public internet forums.
Smit, something just doesn't make sense. The doctor said he didn't know about the launch, but he has dozens of patients lined up for the drug? Something doesn't seem right to me. If it were me I would question his numbers at least....
Sentiment: Strong Buy
He said "at least two dozen" and that he hasn't looked at the stock for a little less than a year, after approval. He said that he just expects to be notified by some network, I can't remember the name, Achilies or something, that a new drug is being released.
