Smart move. I try to explain to folks when they complain about paying a higher copay that it almost costs about a full tank of gas for their vehicle and that gas lasts only 7-10 days, if that. It's human nature that people don't want to pay money for stuff they don't like i.e. pills. These little tablets whatever they may be keep you going and functioning. I blame a lot of this on our education system and advertising media. I should be driving a Lexus and slowly dying from Type II diabetes because I'm obese and paying off the Lexus with a lousy lease and not paying for my meds. Crazy thinking.
Even at full price, BELVIQ is cheap and a terrific value. It's like paying $1 now to prevent $100 dollars in health care costs later. Pretty soon, most of the major insurance companies will line up to cover it.
