My HMO doctor said no to Belviq.
Went to diet clinic, got script.
Got discount coupons on internet, no problem.
Took script yesterday Tuesday to small independent pharmacy price $240/month
picked up prescription this afternoon, was no charge, 15 day supply, nice.
Pharmacy said I am the first Belviq prescription.
Took pill immediately, 2pm, these Belviq pills are tiny.
Ate a snack of Cotto Salami and Havarti cheese, not much, went to Home Depot and did repairs around house, operated heavy machinery[!], everything ok, feel nothing really
8pm Fired up BBQ and grilled 2 6oz tuna steaks and brussel sprouts for spouse and I.
Had a cup of mixed nuts around 10.
Taking 2nd Belviq pill now.
Feeling just like normal, no side effects.
There were no "seconds" available for dinner tonight, but guess I did not miss that, [I usually get "seconds"]
sometimes truth is boring, oh well.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
How many push ups did you do today, besides all the eating? Did you do any lunges or are you able to do lunges? My point is, take the pill, along with changing your eating habits and some exercising. Don't have to kill yourself exercising - sitting on your #$%$ day, like me, you need to exercise. You may not look like Brad Pitt or The Rock, but so what - even a little bit of exercising is helpful. The Pill will help, but don't depend on it.
Got mine as well. I feel like I can pass on some foods that I previously could not resist. It is like having a full feeling when I am not really full. Other than that I don't feel anything different.
sauve, come on, are you really trying to lose weight by eating salami, cheese and nuts as snacks? Salami and cheese are all saturated fats and the nuts are as calorie dense as anything. Start snacking on carrots or you're going to be classified as a "non-responder".
Great news S9. Especially about the side affects part.
Curious. When you said you 'picked up your prescription this afternoon, was no charge, 15 day supply nice. ' were you referring to the 15 day supply or the whole prescription?
Suave what was you experience like at the clinic? What were the physician fees? Did you sign up for a clinic weight loss plan that lasts for 2,3, 4 months? Will you be going back every month for weigh ins? Assuming this weight loss clinic is representative of a typical clinic, this is one for the major clinical environments where many patients will be learning about Belviq and presumable getting prescribed it.
