Were all of your professionals in the state of New York? I'm sure you know this already and there is no way your "random" calls are skewed (sarcasm) but for the benefit of everyone else here. In the state of NY it's the law that all scheduled drugs like Qsymia (and Belviq) require the original prescription to be mailed into the mail-order pharmacy; it can NOT be faxed in. As you can imagine this is really ... (protects local retail pharmacies from competition) really inconvenient for physicians and patients. Qsymia was mail-order only until ... TODAY in New York. Now Qsymia can be picked up at the local Walgreens or Costco. CVS, Walmart, etc within the next couple weeks.
But you go on with you survey of 35 "random" physicians.
So Toad, according to your analysis, all scheduled drugs require the originail prescription to be mailed into the mail-order Pharmacy; it cannot be faxed. Well, this is a news flash so listen carefully. Belviq does not have to be obtained in a mail order pharmacy! You can pick it up at the local CVS, Walmart, CostCo, etc.
