That Shareholder help is still around with my over 80,000 shares @ under $2.00 I have no intentions of selling any of my shares even should they bust this stock down to $2.50 a share. I am a true believer in the developing science that Arena is bringing along. I also believe that with Eisai's help and background that Belviq will take care of itself. I am not in favor in any way with what the market makers are doing here with the constant 100 share trades they are pouring out there at the bid. This will correct itself at some point and all of a sudden the 100 share trades will turn in our favor. They do this a lot when they think they have the long shareholders scared that the company will go to shitz. Keep in mind the the cash this company has in the bank. Keep in mind what Eisai has invested in our company. Keep in mind that there is tremendous pressure on Eisai's management to make this work BECAUSE should it not it would be a real slap in the face to them and in Japan if management is deemed a failure it is a discrace. You will see these people killing themselves. As a long time is on our side we just need to wait through this mess. I will be here WILLYOU.
I bought at an average price of 1.61 and also havent sold any ,all these so called experts have the advantage of hindsight ,if we knew it would drop to 7.20 we too may have taken some off the table but like you Im holding for the long term, short term gyrations are irrelevant, like you I believe in the company and consider it to be my investment and of no concern to anyone else. I had shares in HGSI which I bought at about 2.20 and sold them just days before they went to 14 overnight and then just weeks later to around 30, dont intend making the same mistake here ... no one is able to time the market or its direction, certainly not the small investor. This is a stock that has and is being played bigtime
Stop bragging. If you are a day trader you would have traded. Everyone and his brother thought we were dead in the water when under 2. You had 100,000 bucks or more sitting in a biotech ??? Lots of BS on this board. We all have to admit. ARENA is not the cats meow. And why the heck aren't you day trading now. This has been a great day trader stock.

Steve I am 68 years old. These kids make me laugh. I have made a lot of money during those years. Some of them I really had to work hard and do a lot of traveling when I ran my own business. I borrowed 350 dollars to start my business in 1970. I turned it into $1.5 million in sales before the government passed NAFTA and 95 % of my customers had to shut down because all their work went to Mexico. I made a decision in 2001 to shut it down and looked to work for someone else. That was very tough as I had worked for myself and was able to make all the important decisions on my own. Now all of a sudden I had a boss over me. In 2005 I left the work force and became a day trader in the market. I studied the market and did very well trading hence I was able to bank a lot of the markets money which has allowed for my purchase of over 80,000 shares of Arena Pharm. I think I have a pretty good feel for the market so when these kids on here challenge me I inwardly laugh at them. They only wish they had my lifestyle and the fun and excitement I have had through out the years. If some of them mentally grow up JUST MAYBE THEY WILL. REMEMBER IF YOU THINK YOU ARE RIGHT NEVER BE AFRAID TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE .
You need to take an investment/financial course. While your at it, check yourself in to Gamblers Anonymous. Only a complete imbecile would ride a stock up from below $2 to over $13 and not take any off the table. Congrats to your ineptitude lol.
mktmaven and this is coming from someone that shorted under 2 and then covered at 10 and shorted again to hope and cover some of your losses. Wow one smart short, now go back and kiss your cramr's @@@
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Maven: Hes a true uber long----it may not be Wallystreet style today, but it still works. Its his money and he decides when to sell and I am sure he has a target not met yet! If he is willing to wait you have no right to question when and if he sells!
I dont do it his way asuch anyre (I takesome profit along the way),but he is just fine and way ahead of you I bet! You actually sound like somebody burned on this stock and has not made it back yet----RIGHT!?
If the real value of ARNA is estimated to be 21-23 dollars over the next 2 years why sell at 13 for short term gains? I would rather be in ARNA then a bank account or some other stock like apple. This company and its drugs and technology is going to help the world.
What a load of s##t if you had that kind of investment and any sense at all you would have bailed @ $10. No, I think you BOUGHT @ $10 and have been watching this evaporate your life savings to nothing and this self pump will excuse you from an extremely bad flop of an investment.
No Sir you are absolutely wrong. These shares are there to pay for my grand children's college education. Since the oldest one is only 12 I have plenty of time to see how Belviq does and what other drugs they bring to market. I am very patient. Not to brag but I am a retired day trader and bought the Arena shares with 92% of the markets money. You may call me anything you like and you may be right but THIS IS THE RISK I AM WILLING TO TAKE. Have a great balance of the dat.
