I just consider that they will be not very good due to the short week. It really doesn't matter because ARNA is already making some good revenue off of Belviq sales.
It probably has twenty thousand paying customers already, and at 3 bucks revenue per day per customer,,,, and the customer base is steadily growing... weekly number variations won't affect the base use numbers all that much. I expect a steadily growing base and a large increase in yearly revenues coming forth. This quarters report will only include sales to June 30th. Belviq was barely on the shelves at that point. We have a much larger customer base developed even here in early july as the customer base is additive of weekly scripts. DO THE MATH.
Ha. Relax. It's all just incomplete script numbers and spin until the Earnings report. Then we get truth. Do I want to see script numbers climbing? Sure. But I'm not losing any sleep over it.
Well said. There almost seems to be a push to make long term investors look like they are focused on weekly scripts. Of course everyone wants to see them climb. But this will be a climb to watch over months, not weeks.
Specifically for tomorrow...it's meaningless with the short week data. It will be spanned at will.
Are you expecting a margin.call .I learnt the hard way many years ago they know whose on margin and they will take you out every time......only buy with your own money what you can afford to lose and don t buy if you re needing the money somewhere else . Ok of course to buy on margin if you re able to cover the call Good luck
Saber, sit tight if you are in for long. This is one of those stocks which will test every sort of patience. It looks like there is too much going on behind the scenes which retail will never even come close to knowing. Look at the "Time&Sales" data, even better, looks at "Time&Sales" for all three - Arna, Vvus and Orex. It's a 100 shr game. The prices are what they are and because that's where the "market" wants them. Frankly speaking I thought the Arnaphobes had more power. But this range is laughable. Call it conspiracy theory or every day patterns, it doesn't matter what you or I or anyone else thinks...the PPS behavior cannot be predicted. And maybe it's controlled, which I understand, or maybe it's just market forces, which means I am gambling :) Just my opinion.
