Just curious. You would think a short would find at least ONE link to a legitimate patient who gained nothing from taking Belviq. There are now about 12,000 - 15,000 on the drug. Surely somewhere there is a failure that the shorts should bring to our attention to help us stupid longs understand just how dumb we are.
I am just asking a question and, as of 8:45a on 7/31 nobody has pointed me in the direction of any evidence that anyone that meets the FDA's prerequisites who has not responded.
The reason I asked this question was simple. Nobody was producing any case in which someone did not lose weight when taking Belviq.
If we are really interested in science, then evidence matters.
People in clinical trials do not know if they are among those on the drug or on the placebo. Therefore, they are hopeful, but also skeptical due to past failed efforts to lose weight. This creates stress that for many people exaspergates their eating disorders.
People taking the drug after approval know that it works, know they are on the drug, and will have their doctors watching over their shoulder. There may be some who respond less than others, but at the three month checkup, they will be quizzed as to whether they ate food in spite of not being hungrey, whether they used their old tricks of rewarding themselves with food when some weight loss was manifest.
I agree with you if would be good to get comments from a range of people and responders, just to understand the scope of the problem, but I do not believe there is something fundamentally different in people, other than their psycologoical response to food.

If 12K reported then 15K got it by now.
You still did not answer my question. Where is there a story or a review from someone who was obese that has something BAD to say and did not lose weight? Simple, really.
The free RX was also purchased with a 30 day supply that would be 45 days. You always mention over over over over and over about the free but fail to mention it is purchased with a 30 day supply.
Really? That's a serious question? If we told you that we knew of soome or if anyone showed up on the board to opine on their failure with Belviq, how do you think that would be met? We all know, don't we, that only success stories posted on this board are true. All else is FUD.
Am I seeing, once again, when a question cannot be answered the default position is to question the motive of the person ASKING it?
Actually, I think you and others have probably been scouring the internet for weeks to find someone to support your thesis.
What has NOT been said in this regard speaks volumes.
Yes Really it is a serious question. Actually if someone posted with just the facts - real facts and no bashing Arena or Belviq then people would believe them. As opposed to the two posters who said they were non-responders but were not credible because of their bashing comments along with making non-factual statements in their post.
I know of one and possibly two people of all the people I know taking Belviq that may not be responders. They have lost weight but not that much. One is at about 42 days and the other is at 38 days. But by 60+ days they will definitely know one way or the other.
Having said that the majority of the people I know on Belviq are responding well with no side effects, those that are diabetic are showing solid results in the reduction of A1C and FPG levels.
Its because all they know how to do is make one lie after the other -- they haven't considered actually thinking about any facts -- if they had they would have got outta that short position before now for sure !!

Longs opine, shorts opine, but what longs post over and over is finally digested and regurgitated as fact by some poster who says so, referencing nonsense like that from the disgraced Dr. Dan who has rarely been right to date, or the meaningless Galien award, or the bogus direct treatment for diabetes. Why do longs even respond to my posts, for instance? It is fear that drives them to seek them out and try to debunk them in a very vitriol fashion - that is hysteria ruling.
Can I convince more than a handful to sell, if even one? And what difference will it make in two days? Yet longs post incessant nonsense in a mad stream of histrionics because we are the light and they are the moths. We are here because you are here, proffering your necks to us.
You are scared little bunnies who think a MB might be the salvation of your message, a message you sense intuitively is not going to meet your expectations, and whatever dims that hope is attacked as FUD to sedate the rankled nerves.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide - Thursday will be upon you with a vengeance.
I don't think that will be necessary... Scramble? Really? Why would we scramble? is something amazing going to happen for you if we don't? All of you MUST know just how ridiculous you sound. What a bunch of scardy cat crybabies. You are have the mental capacity of little children whose toys have just been stolen and you're turning heads in circles to find them. WHAAAA.... WHAAAA..... Stop the big bad man from saying mean things, mommy.
i am sure there are some as refills are not as good as I would expect yet, I have tried applying 15 day, 30day and 60 day to the refill from original scripts and the drop out rate looks higher than 50% from what I can see. I am very long so don't bash me for this statement
