Article statement: "In trials, Belviq offered the better safety profile of the two anti-obesity drugs, while Qsymia delivered the better weight-loss percentage."
In Arena's August 1 conference call the company reported that real-world efficacy is turning out to be 200% to 300% higher than what was seen in trials. No word yet on "responder" percentages, but no doubt those real-world percentages are higher also.
On August 10, Edgar Online Financials published a link to Yahoo's Arena Income Statement. After 3 consecutive losing quarters, Arena posted a $40,100,000.00 net profit, which equals $0.18/share beating the average market estimate of 0.15/share. Insider Monkey said that institutional buying of Arena stock was up 18% last quarter (I guess they got the news about Arena's profitable quarter before the street did!)
Good time to be "long" ARNA! (or get long! Not such a good time to be "short"!)
I'm usually sympathetic to investors who lose money on their bets, but the people shorting ARNA and trying to steal from investors on this Message Board deserve only my contempt. Their inner-reality must look like Detroit currently looks: an abandoned graveyard of failed values. No doubt they are rotting from the inside-out physically, mentally, spiritually. And soon they will lose ALL OF THEIR MONEY! GOOD RIDDANCE!
RETAIL INVESTORS WHO FIRST EARNED THEIR MONEY, THEN INVEST IT, DON'T NEED PARASITES LIKE VAN, USELESS, OSBORNE, FARTSTAIN, ETC... AROUND...
Those shorts here are just churning pennies on the day now if indeed they are lucky enough to time it right (big gamble on any trade.) The longs here have them by the you know what since nobody is selling. So why the MM plays their games along with the Milken criminal regime (Ichan/Keating/Cramer) their days are numbered too. So small time shorty may pile on here and there with the big time criminals and spin the wheel for a small gain now and then but they know time is running out. It's obvious retail longs just are not selling nor will they for a 'long, long, long time' if ever!
