    1. no drug company is using ampligen in their testing that we know of.

    2. there is no significant trial showing effectiveness of ampligen for anything at all.

    3. HEB is years from getting ampligen approved. yes, years.

    4. there are many, many adjuvents.

    5. if ampligen was effective for CFS, why is there no clamor for the drug for treating CFS?

    http://www.cfs-news.org/ampligen.htm

how many years does it take to trial a drug or complete an NDA? remember the company announced it would be filed in 2004.

    • Agree.

The longs apparently feel you can apply for an NDA like you can a drivers license. You get it same day. And the product hits the shelves the next day.

HEB is like many pharmaseutical companies. It's a cash burner that has raised a bunch of capital to perform tests on a couple proprietary drugs, hoping one pans out with positive results.

It's a huge risk and that's why most pharmaseuticals fail. And those that are successful get acquired.

Right now, if you have long term money in HEB, your investing in a company with no significant earnigns, no FDA approval, a company attempting to fight a virus that doesn't impact its target market yet, a company with no government backing, and a company with lots of competition.

But longs don't want to hear this. They'd rather dream of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

      • I realize you finally managed to figure out how to unlock that shift key...... It makes your message way easier to read, albeit by no means more correct. But I found this posting of yours the most readable of all your postings. Sure, there is risk in investing in biotechs, no doubt. No risk, no fun.

      • But if I want to waste my money on this stock I can do so. Are you here to help us longs? Is there some special place for people like us longs in your heart. Do you feel compassion for us. Why are you here? It is almost like you care.........but yet..........do you think we need to be taught which stocks to buy and which ones not to buy? Are you going to start a service for us slow learners? We need so much help and I can see you are here to help us. Keep up the good work.

    • 1. Why would HEB let a drug company test their product when they have some of the best University levels hospitals testing it now?

      2. No significant trial? Check the press releases.

      3. Bullshit

      4. None are as effective as Ampligen for the application you are probably referring to.

      5. Who says?

      6. True.

      Drop Dead.

      • i appreciate the attempt to answer my post. but why did you have to make up responses without facts?

the stock finished up a penny the day before the cc? i am not to pleased with that.

carter will need to actually say something in order for the stock not to trade to 2.25. the constant press releases without material developments are weighing heavy.

    • 1. no drug company is using ampligen in their testing that we know of.
--Outside of HEB. The drug is not approved for use, so why would another drug company use ampligen in combination?

      2. there is no significant trial showing effectiveness of ampligen for anything at all.
--Incorrect. According to HEBs own PRs, you've seen statistical significance.

      3. HEB is years from getting ampligen approved. yes, years.
If the NDA is filed in August, they will have an answer MUCH sooner than years.

      4. there are many, many adjuvents.
--So? There are many, many drugs out there and they all make money. Look at headache/pain as an example: you have advil, tylenol, naproxen, etc.

      5. if ampligen was effective for CFS, why is there no clamor for the drug for treating CFS?
--where is your proof that there is no 'clamor?' The drug is not approved yet. The FDA approved HEB to receive compensation for treatment under a protocol. Patients are PAYING for ampligen.

    • I can only assume you are a jerk....

In one of your posts you mention you bought back...

which implies you are trading and have owned the stock at least twice.....
