Jonjerk, if what you claim is true why is HEB trading at 46 cents per share? Any other biotech with these research results would be trading in the $8 to $10 range. Obvoiusly the meeting today was a dud...as usual for HEB. The company has nothing going for it. It is run for the benefit of management and the directors!
"Our products are products that we are working our heart out to bring to the market -- not just for the money. There are millions of people that suffer the deprivation of chronic fatigue syndrome. And it is not just those victims of chronic fatigue syndrome, but their families that suffer. They need help. The threat of pandemic viral disease is one that is a clear and present danger. If we can provide assistance to the vaccine programs for these various diseases, millions of lives may be spared. So we have just begun to fight. We will not give up. And we believe in our product, and we will do our very best to bring that product before the FDA for approval."
I almost start crying every time I read that. So touching. Complete and utter bull, but touching nonetheless.
Sixty million dollars in the bank. A $600,000 annual salary. Keeping Carter and his cronies in clover is the primary mission of Hemispherx. Treating disease or helping patients means nothing to these guys. Don't forget that.
