how ridiculous, this had nothing to do with the wires. This was all caused by the 75' trees, full of leaves, that snapped like toothpicks during the heavy wet october snowstorm and took down telco, cable, and the electric wires. The Utilities were just putting humpty dumpty back together again.... cut the tree and plant a different species.. there are not enough tree trimmers and linemen ( as demonstrated in Connecticut)in the country to respond to these type of storms. The utilities should bill each town ! It doesn't go away until you address the towns and home owners tree issues... This type of storm would have taken 14 days to restore ten years ago. God bless the utilities for the recovery and work they did last week!
