They are setting up for a reverse split, unfortunately. If the company can have some decent results over the next few quarters, they might be O.K. Otherwise it just becomes a Sweetheart deal. After the reverse split, they will not have to sell as many shares to Lincoln in order for them to receive the free shares.
It will be interesting to see if this has any short term effect on the share price. So far, nobody running for the exits, that is a good sign. Of course the price overall, that is a different story, as you stated.
