I agree that 300 items a day per store (although that seems high) would be a lot to sell on the web, however, the concept would be for each store to take some of their slow moving merchandise and offer it on a Cash America Auction site. This would give national (international) exposure for items. Many items might sell better in a different market. Who knows, someone in United Kingdom might really go bonkers for a guitar from Oklahoma! Also, this concept would give Cash America much higher visability in the investment markets. By partnering with an existing web auction house, and simply shipping via UPS or Fedex, it could be a very low cost start-up.
