that ssid, I added more shares yesterday. Earnings and guidance were good. Wish I knew who is selling and if they know something we don't. Anyone have an idea what could be causing this-it's not like there is huge options out on this.
I'm thinking that some of this is in sympathy with NTAP, and concern about the potential shortage of disk drives due to the flooding in Thailand.
NTAP is saying that their current quarter will probably not be affected by the disk drive issues, due to the fact that most drives for Q4 production and shipment have already been delivered or are in the pipeline. They said that higher disk prices in Q1 could be an issue.
I suspect that the same issue is true for DTLK. Could there be an impact on Q1 hardware installations or a cut in gross margins? It depends on how quickly the manufacturers come back online.
i agree. analysts are saying global HDD supply will be down 20-25% in first quarter. entire storage sector got hit after NTAP report. for long term value & growth investors a good time to add as this is short term problem. imo.
