This is why HCP should go down soon
Insiders selling end March at 1around 18.07 - 18.37, misses estimates, lower revenues; all imply that this little rally on light volume today can't last long. Good time to short HCP now b/c all the fundamentals point to a lower share price and this little rally is only short covering since HCP has a high % of shorts.

  Until a really significant event occurs (today's earnings aren't it) the stock is likely to move generally with the market. Given the carrying costs, anyone shorting this stock had better hope that S&P resistance at 875 holds because if it is broken decisively they will be in a world of hurt.

  I tried to short HCP earlier and Ameritrade told me shares in this company are not available to short.

  Too bad! I wanted to short some more today but TDAmeritrade cancelled my order. I guess no shares are available to short today.
