Hey, do you think TRF will continue to pay out a huge divi the end of this year. Even in 08', they manage to pay out a hefty divi and it seems like they consistenly do it by the end of year. Any thoughts? And if divi this year by Dec, how much?
TRF has had large Capital Gains Distribution in past years (sometimes around half of NAV). That's not exactly a good thing, unless you like paying taxes.
TRF does have an actual Dividend, too, but it is a much smaller percentage (something like 1-2% of NAV). The actual Dividend should be steady and predictable, unlike the Capital Gains (which is really just dependent on how actively the mutual fund manager trades in and out of stocks, as opposed to buying and holding).
