    Two questions?

    To anyone that may know:

    1. What is the date that starts the 10 year period for PIP to share in profits?

    2. Does anyone know for sure if the production schedule is actually "warm manufacturing" without calling it that?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tennessee

    • I mean, look at this on their website. WTF?

      Facilities:

"Built in 1998 and greatly expanded in recent years, SIGA’s laboratories are located in Corvallis, Oregon... The beauty of the area and its proximity to Oregon State University make Corvallis a highly desirable working and living environment for SIGA’s growing team of scientists, technicians, and professionals."

    • I think that is a good question. Not that I'm particularly worried, mind you.

But, It would be nice if the company would brag (report?) a bit more about progress here. Some regulatory hurdles: Facility square footage, compleation and equipment qualification. Facility and quality systems cGMP and ISO 9004, 13485,14001 (or whatever) certification Manufacturing process validations. 21 CFR-11, 210, 211, 600, 610, 800’s compliance.

And, what about a picture? I mean, it would be nice to know the company we’ve invested in doesn’t look like this:

    • AMLN...I've been concerned for a while now about regulatory compliance in the mfg of ST-246 and the criteria BARDA may have regarding such, and their ultimate acceptance of the product from Siga. Nothing specific mind you, but I know the guidelines with the FDA are very strict and we've heard nothing from the company regarding BARDA's acceptence of the mfg facilities of Siga, nor when the first product is actually going to be delivered and accepted by BARDA.

Not saying there is any "problem" just that there has been total silence to date on the mfg issue.

    • "capacity to fulfill both the BARDA contract and make outside sales"

Golong, you and other mention concern regarding "capacity" to manufacture st-246. I'm concerned about regulatory compliance and data establishing safety and efficacy. But, my opinion it that there are plenty of GMP CMOs that could make a mountain of ST-246 in short order if asked.

      Am I wrong?

    • Substitute "realistic" for "pessimistic" and I'll agree with you!

Seriously, I know we've exchanged some pretty harsh words in the past but I was the biggest loser of all time on this board with Siga until I took it into my own hands and sold 80% of it, then took the proceeds, plus more, and bought two new positions (which I posted about here when I did it), and made the losses back, plus. Thus I feel I have "earned" the right to be a tad "pessimistic" about this company. Cost me over 300k in losses. And that IS a fact, unfortunately.

Trying simply to find something positive that is actually "factual" that might justify the price moving to 5-6 where I will exit the rest of this POS regardless.

Regarding mfg...Without playing more word games I simply presume you feel that Siga has plenty of capacity to fulfill both the BARDA contract and make outside sales of ST-246 to boot. You apparently feel that such may be coming in the relative near future? I don't.

    • Yea, stop being so pessimistic about SIGA. Tenn and I just don’t understand why you should be so grumpy and downcast. It’s not like communication from management has been absent, or like the stock price is in the toilet, or that every single deadline or goal for ST-246 AND the pipline has been missed.

Hey, wait a minute, it is!

    • I have given you a strong hint and that is as far as I will go. If you weren't so gol darn pessimistic you might be able to see the answer.
