Little more on Supreme Court timing

I see from the Del. 2014 budget that:

60% of all cases heard by the Supreme Court are disposed of within 30 days from the time of submission.

Decisions for Civil cases are on average rendered approximately 20% MORE QUICKLY than criminal cases.

The first listing under "Key Objectives" for the Court in this year is to "Continue to render final dispositions in most cases within 90 days ."

"The Supreme Court’s major accomplishment within the
past year was the disposition of most cases within 29.7
days of the date of submission. This disposition rate is
well under the 90-day standard the court has set in
    accordance with ABA standards."

In other words, they take prompt decision-making quite seriously, and the 70 days that the SIGA case has already taken means that it is no slam dunk (either way).
