They're at the gate. and they're off!
SIGA 2.5mil shares @ $5 16yrs ago
CMRX 7.5mil shares @ $14 3days ago
CMRX falls a tad backwards to $18.17 down 3.3% from its sensational starting gate exit run to $18.79 in just 2 days ago
SIGA well after eating pails of investors & always drinking at the trough, having numerous dumps and perhaps one promising run settles down to taking a few naps & retrace it's hoof steps backwards. This all while having a scrap or two with some fillies all looking in search of greener pastures. SIGA just says FEED ME! It closed down 1% from previous day.
Some horses just ain't made for the race track
I would suggest that you don't visit the local racetrack for awhile. Your analogy to the ponies and stocks will make you an easy mark for the touts who are always looking for "live bait." Take that Daily Double money and buy some more stock. You might end up losing that as well but at least you won't lose it in 70 seconds, the time it takes to run a six furlong race.
No horse race. Siga is the pony that accompanies the race horse to the starting gate, CMRX is apparently the race horse that everyone here once thought was the exercise pony. 400 million market cap versus 115 million doesn't lie....
