    Comments from Wedbush

Mentions that auditor who originally guided on treatment of warrants and signed offf on financials changed their minds and required the restatement. Prop to the auditors. Pathetic.. "We continue to expect that the Delaware Supreme Court decision, expected by June 4, will reverse or dramatically reduce the 50% profits remedy prescribed by the lower court, potentially leading to a sharp move up in SIGA's shares. Reiterate our OUTPERFORM rating and our 12-month price target of $7.50/share."

      • it wouldn't and it isn't......

the intial ruling was very short-sighted, incomplete and bordering on extreme prejudice......it left many issues around this case unanswered....

this type of ruling is not (and should not) be viewed positively by the Supremes....personal opinion based judgements solely to compensate a preferred party are very dangerous to this court, its effectiveness and reputation.....it must be corrected

        IMHO

      • I somewhat agree with you....but we still need to consider that this is a complex case, it's not your ordinary "slip & fall" suit appeal. But, all in all, it has been OVER 4 months since the arguments were heard.

Someone mentioned the other day about what if SIGA was sued over their drug and how would that be handled legally. I think that's an excellent point and I'm not sure if, or why it wasn't, addressed by SIGA's attorneys, the judge, or anyone. SIGA could literally pay out MILLIONS over 7-8 years or so and then be sued over the drug in year 9....and, if they lose, does PIP return all of the money that they now received off of a drug that was the cause of serious harm and considered by the courts to be negligent? How would that work? You'd be kidding yourself to think PIP would just fork over half of the settlement or award amount. There's another can of worms....

PS, Rose still sucks...or blows, however you want to put it.
