Any guesses about Tuesday's open and closing prices?
There's been a whole lot of thought that's gone in analyzing Friday's court decision. Do any of you have any thoughts about where SIGA will open and where it will close on Tuesday? My own guess is that it will open somewhere around 6 and because of the heavy short position there could very well be another order imbalance causing it to close somewhere North of 7. How's that for wishful thinking?"
i agree with you good24life, but we may not get there on Tuesday - it may take a couple of days, even with the large short position. My DD leads me to believe that the Market Value for SIGA has increased by about $150-200 million with this decision (because my personal estimate of the damages is now around $15-20 million), and that increases the enterprise value by about $3-4 per share.
There is still too much uncertainty for the stock to rise that much. The Supreme Court ruling was entirely too vague. I bet Parsons himself is confused about their meaning. My guess is both stocks rise tomorrow, but I doubt SIGA rises above the 5's.

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
There was nothing vague about that ruling as many have indicated.
There will be a delayed opening if it opens at all as the parties duel it out in the press. folks TRY to pile in & shorts TRY to cover!
The 50/50 pipe dream has been gored!
Now, Parsons must fess up that he does not have the testimony that meets to award any significant damages.
$6M + $300K for legal/witness fees is my SWAG,NWJ?
