People get hung up with this news or that. This product or the potential of one. And this is what makes a market. Good or bad, the prognosis for this company is a legal quagmire till it is settled sometime, probably in the next century. That's all company. What about the stock?
This stock is close to breaking a long term downtrend line. Statistically, the resultant move is @ 20%. Somebody BIG has been showing and selling just enough when the bid strikes his offer to #$%$ daily volume to prevent this happening while he accumulates. What is strange is he isn't really accumulating, just delaying. Waiting for news or trying to accelerate the turn in the technicals so that he CAN accumulate bigger / cheaper? You guys will know this better than me.
It maybe next week or next month if it stays around these price levels, but it will be relatively soon if the market doesn't correct deeply. If the break happens in conjunction with news, it will be a quick advance with height and sustainability more dependent on market direction than on fundamentals. Point: people get bored during long basing action. So develop your plan before the excitement or you will do something you aren't happy with later.
No way of knowing for sure but there was a good opportunity for the seller to unload a bunch and it did't occur. If you had wanted out knowing how thin volume has been, wouldn't you have jumped at the opportunity? I would have, but I don't want out.
