Has anyone read the latest Pharmathene blurb about SparVax?

Buried in it, I found this statement regarding the Supreme Court's decision about the SIGA case "...reversing its finding of promissory estoppel, and remanding the case back to the Court of Chancery to reconsider the appropriate remedy and award of attorney's fees and expert witness costs in light of the Supreme Court's opinion."

Does that sound to you that PIP no longer thinks they are getting much? Am I reading that correctly?

    • Also should have included: "In addition, in May 2013, the Delaware Supreme Court issued its ruling on the appeal in our litigation with SIGA Technologies, affirming the Court of Chancery's finding that SIGA was liable for breach of contract,..."
The remedy and award of attorney fees remain contested.
      Essentially, nothing has changed.

      • Okay - I can say you should have included 'reversing its finding of promissory estoppel'. So here's the whole paragraph.

"In addition, in May 2013, the Delaware Supreme Court issued its ruling on the appeal in our litigation with SIGA Technologies, affirming the Court of Chancery's finding that SIGA was liable for breach of contract, reversing its finding of promissory estoppel, and remanding the case back to the Court of Chancery to reconsider the appropriate remedy and award of attorney's fees and expert witness costs in light of the Supreme Court's opinion. "

So what you are saying is the only thing up for discussion is attorney's fees and expert witness costs? That nothing else has changed? Gotcha. That would sure be PIP's desire.

    • Where there is doubt there is hope! Lucky to be in CADX today, Was led there by a tip from old siga poster ret. Saint, you may be getting me to add to my Siga core.
