Take one for the team? Colleen had responsibility for McNeil. Evidence suggests she ignored well documented problems. I don't understand how she's taking one for the team. She should have been canned months ago and is lucky to be "retiring" on March 1, 2011. Which, coincidentally, gives her 1 more year of a large bonus, LTI, and CECs.
Yeah, she gets to retire on March 1st and collect another 6 months of pay plus another bonus and another year's defered income.
The 8000 she and Weldon fired last year were conveniently let go just prior to collecting their bonuses or defered compensation. And they certainly didn't get 6 months of additional pay, health care, etc before they got fired. I've read where they have emails within consumer that state the FDA had approved the phantom recall..... but the FDA says it knew nothing of it - sounds pretty close to criminal charges to me.
