I have been reading the steady stream of posts concerning the Cordis's stents and how JNJ (apparently) made a mistake in acquiring Cordis, and how they've lost a chunk of the stent market, etc., etc. Frankly, I am not quite sure I understand fully the ramifications behind the stent controversy --possibly because I am only reading about it in bits and pieces and have no knowledge at all of the stent market. I also do not recall reading any press releases about this. But however serious the problem may be, the stock appears to be rising in value steadily. Today, for example, it went up 1 1/16 in a declining market. Can anyone explain why?
