The planet has been here for 5B yrs, and will be here for another 5B yrs. Man has been on earth of 10K yrs, and we won't be here for another 10k, given the way things are going, and that has nothing to do with the environment.
Thanks - yes I should have guessed news from a few days ago would surface. Wasn't this announced a few days back: (from WSJ) "The American Petroleum Institute has estimated that the new standards would cost refiners $10 billion in up-front capital expenditures, and an additional $2.4 billion in annual compliance costs."
Regardless....I did buy a little CVRR. However, the better bet may be the larger refiners as it may be easier for them to comply - they've got the capital ($ & intellectual) , structure & manpower to change.
