3 non-official "tells" prior to results and 1 official one...
1. The doctors are the ones requesting the alz extension - why? Because it is working.
2. The doctor in the release today gushing over prana - why? working...he wouldn't say jack if it was showing zero effect...he can't contain his excitement
3. The "awakenings moment" with the trial participant in the aussie news report
official one: the recent mouse study revealing optimal brain/memory function w pbt2
all I can say is that PRAN better have solid phase 2 results, as their press releases are a little on the spectacular side of things. I'm very long this stock because I believe in the drug, but they are making a bit of premature noise. I'm hoping that the stock pric e can get high enough with phase 2 so that they can do a secondary and raise over $100 mill, which they will easily need for a phase 3. I just don't want to see them give away the store in a partnership. Maybe a 50/50 split may work, like PCYC and JNJ has.
Maybe, but if you're right they should be more cautious. And if you're wrong they shouldn't have been pumping in the first place. Reputable drug companies gush about results after they are released if they are good - they don't pump the way Prana does. I wish their PR people would be more measured and explain the value of silence and moderation right before results.
Hello, it is not the company gushing, but doctors involved in the study. Not paid endorsers, MDs working with Alz patients in a BLINDED study, where however, they see the results in changes to their patients. Prana ain't pumping jack...and why should they?
